Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible to monitor resident areas, respond to emergency calls, and provide assistance in case of accidents or medical emergencies. The right candidate will also be responsible for the security of the residents, staff, visitors, premises and property of Casa Giuseppe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor surveillance and control access points
• Patrolling the premises and property to ensure resident safety and protect the property.
• Investigate security breaches, any incidents and/or other alarming behaviour, as well as de-escalate conflicts ensuring a peaceful atmosphere.
• Draw up and complete reports by recording any observations, information, occurrences and activities.
• Respond and assist in emergencies including evacuation emergencies.
• Night Security

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:
  • Previous experience, particularly in a healthcare settings, is an asset but not required.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Security License
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Physical fitness and good conduct.

Work Environment:

• Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
