Job Vacancy – Maintenance Worker Required

iCare Operations Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Worker to join its team at Casa Giuseppe. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance tasks. If interested, kindly send your resume to rachel@icare.com.mt

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks. These will include, but are not limited to, electrical, plumbing, painting, tiling, plastering, carpentry work as well as general facility repairs.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and perform corrective works in the facility of Casa Giuseppe.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and installation.
• Record keeping and log of works done.
• Respond to and perform maintenance requests at Casa Giuseppe.
• Attending to emergency maintenance as required.
• Maintain logs of interventions, work carried out, pending works and ensure these are completed according to priority.
• Complying with the respective safety rules and regulations.

Perform any other duties, such as assisting other departments, and/or sub-contractors as required, as well as reporting/discussing any issues with the general manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:
  • Previous experience in maintenance, particularly in healthcare settings, is an asset but not required.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and use of basic power tools.
  • Capable to work under pressure with the ability to find faults and problem solve.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • ICT literate.
  • Able to work on own initiative and prioritise jobs.
