iCare Operations Ltd, established in 2024, is the operational arm of iCare Ltd, a trusted provider of elderly and dementia care services in Gozo, Malta since 2018. Backed by the experience, values, and standards of iCare Ltd, iCare Operations Ltd continues this legacy by delivering expert care through its dedicated team of professional carers, nurses, and home managers, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of care. Our services are provided through two specialised facilities: Casa Amalia, a dementia-friendly centre and Casa Giuseppe, a care and retirement home for the elderly.

At the heart of our philosophy is a person-centred and compassionate approach. We strive to enhance the quality of life for each resident by offering a safe, supportive environment where care is tailored to individual needs. Both facilities are designed to promote comfort, familiarity and a strong sense of community.

Coming from different backgrounds, and skilled in different fields, our team work together in synergy providing the best round-the-clock assistance, making sure our senior homes are managed to the highest standards and provide all the care and benefits which any of our residents requires from a supportive community. 

Adrian Formosa – Operations Manager

Adrian joined iCare Operations Ltd in 2025 for Casa Giuseppe. Adrian holds extensive expertise in facilities management, project coordination, and operational excellence. With a strong background in managing diverse facilities and infrastructure projects, Adrian has consistently demonstrated leadership in streamlining operations, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards, and optimizing resource management. Adrian’s experience spans several years, during which he successfully led major projects involving procurement, maintenance planning, and contract management. Adrian holds a degree in Construction Engineering and a postgraduate qualification in Management, underscoring his ability to integrate technical expertise with strategic oversight. His collaborative leadership style fosters effective teamwork and continuous improvement, aligning perfectly with ICare Operations Ltd.’s mission to provide outstanding and sustainable service solutions.

Fiona A. Muscat – Facility & Care Director

Fiona joined iCare Operations Ltd in 2025 as the Facility and Care Director of Casa Giuseppe and Casa Amalia. Fiona completed her studies in the United States and holds dual Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Nursing and a Masters degree in Advanced Practice Nursing. She has clinical experience working as a senior registered nurse and charge nurse on a cardiothoracic surgical intensive care unit. Fiona later practiced as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting where she was able to further her leadership and clinical skills. Through balancing compassion with accountability, supporting her team, and fostering a positive, person-centered care culture, Fiona is dedicated to enhancing both resident care and staff well-being.

Michela Bonello Ghio – HR & Activity coordinator

Michela joined iCare Operations Ltd in 2025 as HR and Activity Coordinator for Casa Giuseppe and Casa Amalia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing and a Master of Science in Strategic Management and Digital Marketing from the University of Malta. Michela’s background in high-level competitive sports, including national team representation and team captaincy, developed her leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. She also coached children in swimming and football, honing her ability to motivate and mentor others. Passionate about creating enriching experiences, Michela coordinates activities that boost resident well-being while fostering a supportive, positive environment for staff. By combining effective HR practices with meaningful resident engagement, she enhances both staff satisfaction and residents’ quality of life at iCare Operations Ltd.
